1000W LED Flood Light Replacement for 2000W to 3000W Metal Halide

Specification of Commercial 1000W Flood light - LITE-FL-1000

The LITE-FL-1000 flood light is an extreme engineered specialized commercial grade flood light for the most demanding industrial and commercial applications where day light is there is high heat levels. Applications include sports stadiums, golf course, factories, ware house, cranes, loading docks, ports / wharf, building or bridge lighting, security lighting, etc. Available in wide or focused beam.

2000-3000W Equivalent

At 1000W and approximately 90,000lm depending on colour temperature the LITE-FL-1000 can meet the requirements of a 2000W to 3000W conventional metal halide or similar flood light.[1] The positioning of the LEDs allows almost 100% total light projection downwards towards your courtyard, carpark or warehouse, unlike the sideways mounted and omni-directional bulb of a metal halide which projects light upwards away from the target and relies on the quality and efficiency of the reflector to send the light back downwards.

The higher efficiency of the LED projection system and high lumen maintenance (little light degradation, less than half that of a metal halide) allows up to 70% energy saving to be achieved.

Cree® XLamp® XT-E LEDs

The flood lights consist of the latest generation US designed CREE® XT-E or XM-L LEDs. US based CREE® is a NASDAQ listed US company and a market leader in the manufacture of LEDs. You could say they are the Nikon of LEDs in that CREE only make LEDs for lighting.

The XT-E LED delivers twice the lumens-per-dollar of previously available LEDs in the popular XP footprint… Built using the latest generation of Cree's silicon carbide based LED chips that deliver higher flux and efficacy… the XT-E LED delivers up to 148 lumens and 148 lumens per watt in cool white (6000 K), both at 350 mA, 85°C." [2]

Mean Well® HLG Series Drivers – 5 Year Warranty

The XT-E LEDs are driven by 4 separate Mean Well HLG-240H-36A Power Supplies/Drivers to make up approximately 1000W output. Backed by a 5 year warranty and established in 1982, Mean Well is a leading standard switching power supply manufacturer in the world. The Drivers are mounted independent from the LEDs (opposite side of the multi-finned heatsink) to permit maximum cooling of both LEDs and Power Supplies.

Superior Cooling & Longer Life > 50,000 hours

The XT-E LEDs alone have a L70 lumen maintenance of greater than 36,300 hours @ 105°C.[3] The LEDs are mounted on a patented copper heat pipe cooling system with integrated multi-fined perforated aluminum heat sink reducing the operating temperature down to approximately 85°C. The patented heat sink design ensures maximum cooling of both LEDs and power supply to ensure a long system life span of potentially greater than 50,000 hours whilst maintaining near original light output (~70%).

Superior Cooling Technology:

The heat from the LEDs is transferred via 12 x 8mm copper cooling heat pipes to the fined heat sink with massive and perforated heat dissipating area, maintaining the temperature of the LEDs at an optimal temperature even in the most extreme operating environments.
