The LITE-EL-50-450W-HT80 Series of LED lights are a heavy duty industrial LED High Bay or LED Flood Light designed to operate in extreme temperatures such as steel smelters or other hot environments including hot roof spaces in hot Summer Climates. Applications include Steel Factories including above Furnaces and Smelters, Test Cells, Boiler Rooms, Chemical Plants, Industrial Ovens, Paint Curing Bays and underground deep Mine Sites. Available in 50W, 100W, 150W, 200W, 300W and 450W modules, 130 lm/W using Osram or Philips LUXEON LEDs and 30°, 30*100°, 60*100°, 90°, 110°, 150°, 75*135°, 75*145°, 60*150° and 73*133° beam angles there is enough flexibility to suite any application and tower height where very hot temperature conditions exist. Longer Life > 50,000 hours The additional CNC Aluminium Heat Sinking applied to the LEDs and LED Driver/Power Supply, including air gap enable optimal cooling of both LEDs and power supply ensuring the life span of the lighting system in more extreme temperatures up to 80°C. The LITE-EL-50-450W-HT80 has a predicted L70 lumen maintenance of greater than 50,000 hours @ 85°C. [2] Up to 2000W Metal Halide Equivalent At 450W and approximately 58,500 lumen (Nominal) the LITE-EL-450W-HT80 can meet the lighting requirements of up to a 2000W conventional metal halide flood light.[1] The positioning of the LEDs and specialised Optics allows almost 100% light projection towards your work area or warehouse, unlike the sideways mounted and omni-directional bulb of a metal halide which has much greater losses and relies on the quality and efficiency of the reflector. The higher efficiency of the LED projection system and high lumen maintenance (little light degradation < half that of a metal halide) allows up to 70% energy saving to be achieved. Whereas the metal halide will decay to approximately 50% to 60% of the original light output. The LED Flood Light will maintain over 80% of the original light after 40,000 hrs. The Luxeon LEDs in the LITE-EL-HB series LED lights are driven by 1 to 3 separate Mean Well HLG Series LED Drivers to make up a maximum of 450W output and a maximum case temperature of 90°C. Backed by an independent 7 year 60,000 hour warranty and established in 1982, Mean Well is a leading standard switching power supply manufacturer in the world. As shown in the image the Mean Well drivers are mounted independently from the LEDs with large air gaps and separate heat sinks to permit maximum cooling of both LEDs and power supply for increased life span. In the case of heavy industry and mining applications we can offer a high voltage version of the LITE-EL-HT80 LED Flood Lights such as 410V option using Meanwell HVG-200 Series LED Drivers.
