High Temperature LED Lighting Projects

Our high temperature lights including LED Flood and Highbay lights (LITE-EL-50-450W-HT80) rated at an ambient operating temperature of 80°C are a heavy duty industrial high temperature light, LED High Bay or LED Flood Light, designed to operate in extreme temperatures such as steel smelters, hot strip mills, kilns, boiler rooms, or other hot environments including hot roof spaces in hot Summer Climates.

Our high termperature lights with remote driver option can function at up to 100°C and our other custom high temperature light designs have withstood over 250°C radiant heat sufficient to melt most standard high temperature LED lights.

Applications include Steel Factories including near Furnaces and Smelters, Test Cells, Boiler Rooms, Chemical Plants, Industrial Ovens, Paint Curing Bays, Kilns and underground deep Mine Sites.

Available in 50W, 100W, 150W, 200W, 300W and 450W modules, 130 lm/W using Osram or Philips LUXEON LEDs and 30°, 30*100°, 60*100°, 90°, 110°, 150°, 75*135°, 75*145°, 60*150° and 73*133° beam angles there is enough flexibility to suite any application and tower height where very hot temperature conditions exist.

Using Mean Well HLG LED drivers rated at > 62,000 hours and a maximum case temperature of 90°C, with additional LED Driver heat sinking we can ensure the longevety of the high temperature LED Lighting system in the most hostile environments.

Some of our recent high temperature applications using the LITE-EL-50-450W-HT80 have been for BB Malt and AGL.

Note for high radiant heat applications see our recent project for Bluescope Steel

Longer Life > 50,000 hours

The additional CNC Aluminium Heat Sinking applied to the LEDs and LED Driver/Power Supply, including air gap enable optimal cooling of both LEDs and power supply ensuring the life span of the lighting system in more extreme temperatures up to 80°C.
